ADDICTED

Okay so I have a new venture....I am trying to curb my addiction to Coca-Cola!!!! I started this after much thought and some friends of mine have motivated me also. I was really nervous about it, then came across an article that said drinking sodas and being addicted is almost just as bad health wise as being addicted to cigarettes...YUCK!! So here I am with my water bottle...wish me luck. However I have found that I have a much larger need for chocolate without my soda, haha. I am hoping for right now to go from 6 cans a day to just 3. I know, I know, crazy that I drank 6 cans of coke a day, but oh so true. I feel like cutting in half will be better than cold turkey right?

Miss SC March Forum

This past weekend was March Forum with the Miss South Carolina Organization! All contestants that will compete for the title of Miss SC and Miss SC Teen meet for the first time to discuss production and expectations of them. We had a great time with Courtney and Makaela and are very very very excited about their year ahead of them. They have been and will continue to raise money for Children's Miracle Network and work on their platform over the next year as they are the reigning Miss Columbia and Miss Columbia Teen. If you would like to donate to CMN in their honor or have any events you would like them be present for I am sure they would be very appreciative :) Now we begin working on their wardrobe selections as well as perfecting their talents. Courtney plays the banjo and Makaela is an aspiring Broadway singer-both of which are AMAZING!

And since this was our first meeting a special notebook was needed for the girls to take notes :) This is a picture of the notebook I made for them! I love my new Palmetto Tree stamp I got at the recent craft show!

My attempt at Blogging!

Hello!!!
Okay, so I have to admit, I am not addicted to facebook or twitter, however I am a big fan of stalking other peoples blogs :) I even tried to stalk my husbands blog..."Tried" being the key word there...he failed at the Blog attempt miserably!!! I think he had a total of three posts in a year. So I decided I was going to take this into my own hands and create one for us together. I hope you enjoy as I plan on posting our travels, Capital City happenings, Miss Columbia events, randoms, and of course my crafts!!!!
