Acting Famous

We just got back from Nashville, TN. Let me just say that I was supposed to be famous. We felt so at home, hanging out backstage! We ended up leaving Friday night around 10pm and driving halfway to a little past Atlanta. The weather was just AWFUL and wanted to try and get as close as we could before it got worse. We got to Franklin, TN around lunch time on Saturday. It was not enough time to play around that town! It is on the outskirts of Nashville, and is so nice! Nice houses, nice shops, nice mall, and the greenest grass I have ever seen. The Mall at Green Hills was a higher end mall than Southpark. The people were all so cute and classy! I never wanted to leave.
That afternoon we headed to Nashville for the Grand Ole Opry. After almost dieing a few times from people being stupid on the interstate and just trying to rush we finally made it to the backstage door. I felt so important walking up to security, telling them my name and them giving me clearance to walk in! Here we are walking around backstage the Grand Ole Opry!!! We walk past all these rooms with numbers on them, inside were chairs, lighted mirrors and tvs. These is where country music really started and continues to stay alive. Who knows who all have been in those rooms!!! I kept eyeing people trying to see if they were famous or not as they walked by, haha. We ended up meeting Loretta Lynn, Joe Diffie, Point of Grace (random...one even said she liked my dress as we walked into the restroom at the same time), and last but not least Jaron Lowenstein. Everyone needs to go out and buy Jaron's CD when it comes out next month, trust me it is going to be amazing!
We are ready to head back so we can spend more time!
